FailleGlam is free to read. To pay for it, we earn money through affiliate links. This page explains what that means for you.
What affiliate links are
Many links to shops on FailleGlam are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link. These links are provided through affiliate programmes and networks, such as Impact and Awin, and directly by some retailers.
Buttons and product boxes that link to shops are part of how we earn money, and those links are marked as sponsored in our pages for search engines.
Commissions never decide what we recommend
- Brands cannot pay to be reviewed, to be included in a list, or to be ranked higher.
- Brands cannot pay for a better score or approve a review before it is published.
- We say what we think is wrong with a product as clearly as what is right, whether or not we earn from it.
- If we recommend a product we earn nothing from, or recommend skipping one we could earn from, that is simply our honest view.
Gifted products and sponsored content
If a brand ever sends us a product for free, or if an article is paid for, we will say so clearly at the top of that article. A gifted product gets the same honest review as one we bought.
