Stunning design and craftsmanship, but delivery delays, defects and restrictive returns frustrate many buyers at this price.

01 Why We Reviewed Arhaus
John Reed and his father Jerome founded Arhaus in Cleveland in 1986. It has grown into one of America’s leading luxury furniture brands, with more than 100 showrooms in 31 states, and it trades on Nasdaq as ARHS. Arhaus is known for globally sourced, artisan-made pieces in natural materials such as reclaimed wood, stone and linen, and for its free in-home and showroom design services. Business is strong: Q2 2026 revenue rose about 7% to around $385 million, with comparable sales up 12.5%.
The honest caveat: customer reviews are very poor. Trustpilot shows about 1.7/5 from 182 reviews, and Reviews.io about 1.5/5. Complaints focus on months-long delays, damaged or defective pieces, unresponsive service and denied claims. Returns are tight: 14 days on stock furniture with a 10% restocking fee, the delivery fee isn’t refunded, and custom or clearance items can’t be returned. White-glove delivery costs $349 (or $499 oversized). Arhaus also settled a $6 million California class action over “fictitious” reference prices.
