Tiami Review: One Mattress, Done Exceptionally Well — at a Luxury Price
Expert testers rate it very highly, but it comes in one firmness only, has a relatively short trial and very little owner feedback so far.

01 Why We Reviewed Tiami
Tiami launched in May 2025 from Tiami Sleep Inc. in Virginia Beach, founded by David Wolfe and Jamie Diamonstein, co-founders of Leesa. Instead of offering many models, Tiami sells one luxury hybrid with a single medium-firm feel, and it’s the only third-party branded mattress Design Within Reach carries, both online and in some DWR studios. Independent testing is strong: NapLab scores it about 9.3, with high marks for cooling, motion isolation and edge support.
The honest caveat: Tiami is new and expensive, and there’s little owner feedback. DWR’s customer rating is about 3.4/5 from a small sample, and we found no verified owner quotes. Its single firmness (around 7/10) won’t suit very soft-mattress fans. The trial is 100 nights, shorter than the 365 nights many rivals offer. Name note: “Tiami” searches often return Tamiya or a Spanish children’s dress line. The mattress is at tiami.com.
